I was discussing this earlier - if I have a shake everyday I find I have no cravings - if I run out I suddenly crave sweet things and bread. Does anyone else experience this?? I lost about 10 kgs on the MVD and am happy to maintain this though I'm not super skinny. Feel great and really enjoy the shakes and soups.

Hi Lynne,

That is very interesting. The Vita Diet shakes contain vitamins, minerals, proteins & carbs in very specific quantities - designed to minimise your cravings. As your body is receiving excellent nutrition, it's not craving anything else.

I have had reports from people on the diet who say if they sneak a piece of bread or a small piece of chocolate or some fruit, they actually feel hungry again not long after eating it. This is because the body takes a "break" from fat burning to burn the carbs that were just eaten. When the body is in "fat burning" mode you actually feel less hungry.

Cravings are the hardest part of any diet but when you family ,friends and work mates tell ya how good ya looking and go "WOW" it must be working then it's easy to stay away from the nasties...Unless!! you're really active then maybe you can have a treat...

omg I have the same problem ! Some times you just need something sweet to get you through, I have brought some of the Vita tech bars and they keep me on track I call them my "pocket rockets".

I am currently planning to run the 10kms in the gold coast marathon the bars have inspired me again.

I find that a pizza a week gets me through. Eg, I have a pizza for dinner one night a week, but the rules are I can't eat the leftovers and I can only eat it till I'm full. Having done this for some weeks and not others I find that it makes no difference whatsoever to my weight loss.
