dining out

Postby Sharon A » Mon May 24, 2010 3:54 pm

I know this is a low carb diet, so my friends are organising a night out on sat. I want to suggest a venue and not sure if chinese is a good option. they do have a lot of braised meals with vegies and i am quiet happy to forgo entrees and fried rice.

can you let me know if this is ok.

thanks

You can choose carefully by avoiding the obvious sweet and sour pork, dim sums, spring rolls and fried rice etc. I've found that prawns or chicken and asian greens are fine - and the chinese tea is perfect. You just have to go easy on the soy sauce!! The clear soups are usually ok too.
